Chantal has taught all ages, from pre-kindergarten to adults. She has developed several innovative writing programs and projects, including an outdoor garden journaling project for grades K through four, a Post-It Poetry game for middle schoolers, and a 12-week writing curriculum built around poetry, memoir, and journalism instruction for children aged 7-14 designed to improve writing and critical thinking skills while creating a safe space for self-expression. The latter was offered at NAUC, a nonprofit in Newburgh, NY, providing educational and athletic enrichment to underserved youth. |
